Upohar Welfare Forum
Like many other Gated Communities of Kolkata, UPOHAR CONDOVILLE has a large number of members who feel concerned about the sufferings of the marginalised section of the society who surround the gated community. However it is the only society where some members have come together to form a Welfare Forum and started extending real-time benefits to the sufferers after careful examination of their condition on the ground. The Upohar Welfare Forum (UWF) is looking forward to rapidly expand their zone of operation and make a difference to the quality of life of the suffering multitude. It is with this objective that this Website is being created to reach all the information to general public including the vision and mission of UWF and guide other well-meaning persons to participate in this noble act.

Donation of Grocery Items, Paraffin Wax, Cotton Bags To Asha Niketan
Location: Asha Niketan, Tangra Road, Kolkata

Over Five decades, Asha Niketan Kolkata has been accompanying and empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities, many of whom come from underprivileged and marginalized backgrounds. Through their residential homes, day care center, sheltered workshops, and outreach program. They strive to provide opportunities for livelihood, creativity, dignity, and inclusive community living. Their Candle making, Block printing, batik, embroidery, and other vocational activities not only nurture skills but also help their members contribute to society with pride and self-worth.
Upohar Welfare Forum tried to help little to these intellectual disabled individuals by donating few Grocery and Cleaning Items for their daily food and cleanliness. Paraffin Wax, Cotton Bags for their workshops.
